The apartment is let for residential use. The tenant has inspected the apartment before making this agreement and accepts it in the condition it is in at the time of the inspection.

The tenant notifies the landlord in writing without delay when a new resident moves in or a notified resident moves out (section 17 a).

3. TERM AND TERMINATION

Under section 52 of the Act on Residential Leases, the landlord's notice period is three (3) months, or four (4) months if the tenancy has continued without interruption for at least two years before the notice, and the tenant's notice period is one (1) month. The notice period is counted from the last day of the calendar month in which the notice was given.

Notice of termination is given in writing and delivered verifiably (sections 54 and 13 a).

The landlord notifies the tenant of an increase and the new rent in writing. The increased rent takes effect at the earliest one month after the notice, from the start of the next rent period (section 27).

The deposit is returned or released, or the tenant is notified in writing of its retention together with the grounds and an estimate of the amount, without delay and at the latest within 14 days of the end of the agreement or of the later handover of possession of the apartment (section 8).
